Bob Rodriguez is a jazz pianist based in New York City. Originally from Cleveland, in 1984 Bob Rodriguez moved to Houston Texas. There he was a faculty at The High School of the Performing and Visual Arts, and became composer in residence with Tina Marsh's Creative Opportunity Orchestra. In 1988 Bob came to New York, and since then performed at Blue Note, Birdland, Greenwich House, Dear Head Inn, and many other clubs in the New York area. In Addition, Bob has presented master classes at the Juilliard School and Wheaton College. He has been involved with Chamber Music America/Doris Duke New Works Program, the Texas Commission on the Arts and the Mid-America Arts Alliance. He has worked with many great musicians, notably Kenny Wheeler, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Billy Hart, Muhal Richard Abrams, Gottfried Stoger and many others.
